We hear strains of "Santa Claus is coming to town" and see the glittering decorations in the public places already - so the Christmas season is here with less than a month to the big day. We can enjoy the mounting excitement and our own preparations, which invariably involve shopping both for gifts and food for our festive gatherings and Christmas dinner. As we hear that other familiar sound of Christmas, the Salvation Army bells, let us imagine for a moment that not only could we not afford the entire box of mandarin oranges, but we could not afford one mandarin orange! Yes...our Remax office will be out in force again with the Salvation Army kettles in the TriCities, Saturday December 13. Terry & I will see you at Suterbrook Thrifty's - stop by and say hello.
The pressure is really on our food banks also this time of year. Our donations there go a long way. For every dollar we give, the food bank has purchasing power of $3. Share will be so grateful for our time, money and food donations - they are just flat out this season. A huge thank you from all of us to all the volunteers who make our community a better place.
Best wishes from our team for a happy time in preparation and getting together with family and friends.
And....remember, when it comes to real estate, we have you covered! Sheila
